The theft took place on Wednesday morning (8/3) in Evosmos when a 43-year-old man took a wallet and mobile phone from an unsuspecting citizen and then made nine contactless transactions using the victim’s debit cards.
His movements were monitored by a police officer (part of the DIAS team) who informed the Emergency Services, which was followed by the arrest of the 43-year-old man despite strong resistance, according to a police statement. EL.AS.
