This time there are two actions for thousands of unemployed State Employment Service (DYPA)because on Sunday, March 12, the application process for participation in the “new generation” training programs for 120,000 unemployed people was completed, and a week later in Athens there is a big event as part of the “Career Days” events, during which together at least 100 businesses active in tourism and looking to reach over 2500 jobs.

In detail, the training program, which ends on Sunday, is dedicated to digital and green skills. Each trainee will complete a theoretical training program related to the development of digital and environmental knowledge and skills, for a total duration of up to 200 hours.

Upon completion of the training, beneficiaries will participate in certification exams in knowledge and skills, and those who succeed will receive a full tuition allowance of up to €1,000 (€5 per training hour).

The project is being implemented as part of the Greece 2.0 National Recovery and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

Those interested can apply through the Single Digital Portal of Public Administration (gov.gr). All those who apply on time and fulfill the conditions of participation will be added to the register of beneficiaries and will be able to select the study program they want to attend from the list of programs offered.

Meanwhile, DYPA is organizing Tourism Career Days in Athens on Saturday and Sunday, March 18-19, at the Heexpo Exhibition Center (39 Kifisias Avenue, Marousi), with the participation of 100 enterprises in the tourism sector, which offer more than 2,500 jobs in various specialties and levels of specialization.

In fact, given the increased needs of the sector to cover the offered vacancies, DYPA provides an opportunity for those who are looking for a job to enter into direct contact and communicate without prior arrangement with representatives of companies seeking personnel.

Companies that will be attending include hospitality divisions, travel agencies, car rental companies, catering companies, airport service companies, etc. During the event, DYPA’s specialized employment consultants will conduct consulting workshops on writing an effective resume and preparing for professional interview.
