United States closely monitor developments in Agriculture The US State Department said today that in the past few hours after Georgian police fired tear gas to disperse demonstrators in central Tbilisi after parliament initially supported the “foreign agents” bill.

State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters that the US would continue to monitor the situation in Georgia and stressed that protesters should be allowed to exercise this right peacefully.
