Speaking to K, Oropou Mayor Giorgos Giasimakis said he also learned about the incident from the internet.

“When I saw the photo, I immediately demanded to know what happened and what condition the 70-year-old man was in. But when I contacted the responsible company and asked them for an explanation, they told me that there was no access to the bathroom and that the woman had to wash herself before entering the ambulance. I want to say that no matter what happens, their actions are reprehensible and it is a shame to see such images with our fellow citizens,” said Mr Giasimakis, who has already ordered an emergency EDE that will investigate and allocate responsibilities where they exist. “

At the same time, the mayor of Oropu noted that he had already applied to the company with a request to remove a specific crew from the municipal ambulance.

According to the information, a 70-year-old woman who lives alone in Oropos and is facing psychological problems was motionless for several days and could not satisfy her personal needs on her own.
