In Bucharest, on the main boulevard in the eastern part of the capital, in the direction of the A2 “Soarelui” highway, two passages are under construction, made by the City Hall of Sector 3. Officially, construction began in 2022, in April and November respectively, but the construction stage is already very advanced, and the opening may take place already this spring or early summer.

Currently, two new passages are being built on Teodora Palladi Boulevard, and the physical stage of the construction sites is quite advanced. Both projects are implemented by the City Hall of Sector 3.

Travel to the exit on the A2 “Soareluy” highway.

The first passage is from the A2 exit/crossroad bd. Theodore Palladius with St. Drumoul between Tarlale.

This thoroughfare is built almost over the first intersection that drivers from the A2 side take to enter the Capital, an intersection with circular traffic and which until recently was one of the most dangerous in the Capital, where numerous road accidents and collisions occurred.

The passage is practically built on b.r. Techodora Palladi will be 340 meters between the current lanes, including ramps, two lanes in each direction, and there will be a ring on the site. In practice, drivers coming from the motorway or exiting Bucharest will cross the intersection without any traffic conflict.

Work began in April 2022, and the deadline for completion is April 2023. The investment is 38 million lei.

The developer is one of the town hall companies – ALGORITHM RESIDENTIAL S3 – which also built a parking lot at the building. Decebal

Currently, the structure of the transition has been raised and work is being carried out on the elements of the superstructure and waterproofing.

Second passage – Passage at the intersection of bldg. Palladi with Teklyu streetnext to Ikea, a work that began to take shape in record time.

Here, work began in November 2022, but a significant part of the structure has already been erected. The passage mainly consists of two parallel passages, which will be built in the middle part of the boulevard and will be made in such a way that the organization of ground traffic serves several directions, including the entrance to the area of ​​the commercial center, without creating a traffic conflict. on the main routes to the city and back.

Of the two parallel crossings, one is shorter and the other is longer, as it also crosses the tram line.

Already on a short drive, the bridge supports were raised and beams were installed, and work is currently underway on the ramps.

Another, longer passage is still in the stage where the legs of the bridge are being raised. However, part of the beams have already been laid on three of the 10 spans.

Sector 3 City Hall began work on this passageway in November 2022, and Mayor Robert Negoitse said it would be ready by May 1, 2022, and in other statements he said it would be ready in the summer.

The arcade costs about 40 million lei and is being built by the City Hall Sector 3 Algorithm Residential S3 company.
