A young woman and her four-year-old child were injured on Sunday at a pedestrian crossing in the Sibiu district by a car driven by an 82-year-old driver. The injured were taken to the hospital.

According to representatives of the Sibiu Police Inspectorate, a 28-year-old woman with a child was hit by a car driven by an 82-year-old foreign citizen at the pedestrian crossing on Semaforului Street.

According to the information sent by ISU Sibiu and the district ambulance service, both the woman and the child suffered a pelvic injury and were transported by ambulance in a conscious state to the UPU of the Sibiu District Hospital and to the UPU of the Luther Pediatric Hospital, respectively.
