Payment of a personal difference allowance, advance payment of an additional allowance

Two lump-sum payments to thousands of pensioners are planned for March. EFKA will pay until March 15 “advance payments” of additional pensions to those who have been waiting for years for their additional pension, and by the end of the month it is expected that an emergency “personal difference” lump sum will be paid to those who have not seen an increase in their basic pension.

On the first 15th day of the month, the payment of amounts from 100 euros to 8,000 euros is planned for approximately 43,000 pensioners awaiting supplementary pension.

The main condition is that they applied before July 1, 2022 and, of course, received their basic pension.

The amounts to be credited are 100 euros for each month of waiting until January 2023.

For the supplementary disability pension and the widow’s pension, retroactive payments will be 50 euros per month.

On March 2, 15, emergency financial assistance in the amount of 200, 250 or 300 euros will be credited to the accounts of 1,122,000 pensioners.

These are pensioners who either did not receive an increase within 7.75% from January 2023 to basic pensions, or it was below 7% due to personal differences.

Beneficiaries who will receive 300 euros:

– 120,000 pensioners with pensions of 800-1000 euros who did not receive an increase because they keep a personal difference.

– 370,000 pensioners with pensions up to 800 euros who received only a Christmas check for punctuality for 250 euros.

– 70,000 pensioners with a basic pension of 1,000-1,100 euros who did not receive an increase, nevertheless received 36 euros per year from the abolition of the solidarity levy.

From 250 euros they will receive:

– 300,000 pensioners with a pension amount of 1100-1600 euros, without an increase, but benefiting from the abolition of the solidarity contribution of about 111 euros per year.

– 94,000 pensioners with pensions up to 1,100 euros who received a supplement of up to 3.49%.

Finally, 200 euros will be received by:

– 33,000 pensioners with pensions of 1100-1600 and a supplement of up to 3.49%.

– 158,000 pensioners with pensions up to 1,100 euros and an increase of 3.5%-6.9%.
