Danny Simpson (36), a two-time Premier League champion (with Manchester United in 2008 and Leicester in 2016), recently revealed that CR7, who he had as a bandmate at Old Trafford in 2007-2009, saved a date that went wrong.
“It hurt, but at one point they patted me on the shoulder. I looked and it was none other than Ronaldo. He called me “Simmo” and I called him “Ronnie”. I got up, it looks like we hugged. We talked for a bit, then I sat down and I see her asking me, “How do you know Ronaldo?”
He was a completely different person to be honest, and that’s only because Ronaldo came up to me and said hello,” Simpson said.
