The President of SYRIZA-PS was found in the hospital of Larisa, where the wounded, burned and the bodies of the victims of the railway accident were taken. Alexis Tsipras after the crash site near Tempe.

According to SYRIZA-PS, Mr. Tsipras was informed by the head of the hospital about the condition of the wounded, many of whom are small children. At the same time, he had the opportunity to talk with doctors and paramedical staff and thank them for the inhuman efforts that they have been making since the first moment of the accident to treat the victims and save human lives.

Arriving at the Larisa hospital, Mr. Tsipras met with the relatives of the victims, as well as with the relatives and parents of the victims, to whom he expressed his deepest condolences in connection with the tragic loss.

Before leaving Larissa, Mr. Tsipras responded to an urgent call to donate blood to help the wounded.
