EOF has initiated a recall of a batch of drugs due to quality issues.
In particular, the announcement of the EOF concerns lot 110922 (expiration date until 09/05/2024) of the drug “BELZER UV SOL.ORG.PR 1l”.
According to EOF, the decision was made after quality issues were reported to the manufacturer: leakage/cloudiness/discoloration/particles.
“Recall of batch 110922 (shelf life until 09/05/2024) of the pharmaceutical preparation BELZER UV SOL.ORG.PR 1L, after informing the manufacturer about quality problems: leakage/turbidity/discoloration/presence of particles.
This decision was made in order to strengthen the voluntary withdrawal from IFET.
IFET, as the holder of the marketing authorization, must immediately contact the recipients of the product and withdraw the lot from the market within a reasonable period of time.
Relevant documents shall be retained for at least five (5) years and shall be brought to the attention of EOF upon request.”
