EL.AS officers handcuffed two soldiers aged 31 and 21. on Sunday afternoon, on the island of Kos, when two young men, during a check carried out against them, began to abuse and threaten the police.
At the same time, the 31-year-old man had a makeshift paper bag containing 0.75 grams of raw cannabis.
Eventually, both were taken to the island’s police headquarters, where they continued to act defiantly while in custody. In particular, they continued to swear and started punching and kicking the wire fence, causing disturbance to other detainees as well as to the services housed in the building.
Finally, at 10:15 p.m., both were released by verbal order from the Athenian military court prosecutor.
