One is spelled out in official documents, the other is publicly declared by the head of the Post Office
The information regarding the plan to lay off 300 administrative and managerial staff, who are provided with compensatory wages, contradicts the public statements of the head of the Post of Romania.
In an interview given last month by HotNews.rothe post’s interim director general, liberal Valentin Stefan, said the restructuring process was aimed at fewer than 300 jobs at the central office in Bucharest and that people would not be fired, but offered jobs in the capital’s post offices. .
- “The entire restructuring process is aimed at the central office in Bucharest. No post offices, no local government. In 2021, 419 positions are listed. Meanwhile, about 100 people left. I believe less than 300 employees will be restructured.
- And we will offer them a job in Bucharest post offices. It’s not about firing people, it’s about optimizing the company.” – said Valentyn Štefan.
In a few daysliberal Valentyn Štefan said, quoted by Agerpres, that “the restructuring process at Pošta Română covers approximately 1,000 people, but all will have the opportunity to stay in the company in other positions.”
