FC Argesh – FCSB 1-2

After Rapid’s win against Kindia, FCSB needed three points to move ahead of the Juleshti side in the standings.

Leo Strizu and Mihai Pintilius’ formation controlled the first half, but without a result on the scoreboard.

At the beginning of the second half, Adrian Shute opened the scoring after a free kick by Florinel Coman, which goalkeeper Stratton mishandled.

Six minutes later, the guests doubled their advantage, the first goal in a red and blue shirt was scored by Dejan Sorescu, a kick from an inside free kick.

FC Argesh reduced the deficit thanks to Kubemba, who followed up Rizzi’s 62nd-minute cross after Risto Radunovic missed.

The end was on the counter-attack, with Pitesti dominating possession and trying to equalise, while Compagno was able to extend the deficit after two great chances, alone with the keeper.

The Argesenses continue their run of bad results without a win this year, staying in the playoffs. FCSB climbs to 3rd place, seven points behind leaders Farul Konstanz.
