Romanian coach Cosmin Olarou achieved new success in the United Arab Emirates after his Al Sharjah side won the Super Cup following a final against Al Ain.

The match between the Cup winners, coached by Olera, and champions Al Ain, coached by the Romanian coach from 2011-2013, was decided by Kodzio Laba’s own goal in the 29th minute.
On the Al Sharjah bench from 2021, Olerou won a second trophy, taking his total to 13 cups and titles won in the United Arab Emirates.
