March tariffs reflect a significant decline in world prices. natural gas in recent weeks (but also uncertainty about maintaining the current price level), combined with an increase in the price of emission rights.

The final cost to consumers remains at 15-16 cents per kilowatt-hour anyway in recent months as the next government subsidies (expected to be announced in March) are set at the level needed to meet this target for the largest supplier’s customers , which is CPR.

In more detail, accruals for March:

  • KPP: for consumption up to 500 kilowatt-hours – 19.5 cents per kilowatt-hour (from 19.9 in February). For higher consumption 20.7 cents per kilowatt hour (from 21.1). Night tariff: 15.4 cents per kilowatt-hour (from 15.8).
  • Protergia: non-consecutive discount 24.8 cents per kilowatt-hour, permanent discount 18.8 cents per kilowatt-hour (no change).
  • Heron Protect: 24.6 minutes per kilowatt hour (up from 24.9 in February).
  • Elpedison: 23 cents per kilowatt-hour during the day and 22.33 cents at night (from 19.5 cents per kilowatt-hour and 18.83 cents respectively in February).
  • NRG: 19.9 cents/kWh without permanent discount (compared to 22.5 cents/kWh in February).
  • Watt&Volt: no change at 24.5 minutes per kilowatt hour.
  • Greek natural gas: 24.7 cents per kilowatt-hour without a single discount (from 25.1) and 18.5 with a discount (from 18.8).
  • Zenith: 19.4 cents per kilowatt-hour (from 19.49) for monthly consumption up to 270 kilowatt-hours and 20.4 (from 20.49) for excess.
