“There were a lot of people, they moved quickly. They wore hoods and held objects that could cause damage in their hands. There was panic in the alley.” With these words, her eyewitness murderous attack on the company of Alkis Campanos he described the defendants’ movements and what he saw from the interior of his car when he happened to drive past the scene of the crime with his friend.

This is the driver of the car who was found behind the convoy of cars used by 12 defendants. Replacing his friend in the passenger seat, the 19-year-old revealed that he was scared “because there were a lot of people and they were wearing hoods,” and his thoughts immediately turned to the fan episode.

Referring several times to his inability to remember details and noting that he did not see the crime scene well, the 19-year-old boy could not see the faces and said that he noticed objects being taken out of the trunk of the car.

He said that he secretly took the car from his father, as he did not yet have a driver’s license. “I was afraid that my car would be broken into. I told my father and he encouraged me to go and testify. A few hours later I learned of Alka’s death. Since I read on the Internet that some criminals got out of my car, I got scared…” he said in his testimony.

The trial was adjourned until the following Monday (20.01), so another police officer from the Thessaloniki Crimes Against Life Unit was called to testify.
