Christodoulidis: I fully trust the opinion of the Cypriot people

“We can ensure collectivity, which, after all, is also the demand of the Cypriot people,” said Nikos Christodoulidis, who exercised his right to vote at Geroskipou Primary School No. 1 at Center No. 4, earlier. At the polling station, Mr. Christodoulidis was greeted by his friends, relatives and supporters.

He stressed that what is holding him back from a lengthy electoral process is that the people of Cyprus know, understand and know very well what is at stake in the election and what dilemmas they face.

He added that he fully trusted the judgment of the Cypriot people, knowing full well that the Cypriot people wished to create hope and perspective for the whole people.

He also noted that the most important thing is that “the day after the elections finds us all united,” while reiterating that the problems and challenges have neither a political connotation nor an ideological origin. “Obviously, through collective efforts, we can achieve more in order to meet the expectations of the Cypriot people,” he stressed.

Mr. Christodoulidis stated that problems and challenges require common approaches and emphasized that collectiveness can be ensured, “which, after all, is also a demand of the Cypriot people”.
