27th place in the world and the third favorite of the competition Iryna Begu was eliminated in the first round of the WTA tournament in Linz category “250”.

Our player was beaten by Klara Tauson (Denmark, 141 WTA), score 6-1, 6-2.

Iryna had a difficult start to the match: many mistakes, unreliable serving in many moments, lagging behind her opponent in most moments.

The match went to the athlete from Denmark (score 6-1), Iryna avoided a bagel at the last call (bagel, set lost to zero).
