The Romanian national rugby team defeated the Polish national team with a score of 67:27 in the game that took place within the framework of the European Rugby Championship. The debut match of the “Oaks” in the competition took place at the Arcul de Triumf stadium in Bucharest.

Romania scored 11 tries against the Poles: Mihai Kirike (2), Marius Simionescu, Tudor Butnariu, Gheorghe Guyon, Taylor Gontineac (2), Hinkley Vaovasa, Paul Popoia, Robert Irimescu and Alexander Dinu. Popoaya managed two conversions and Yonel Melinte added four.
