The couple, whose identities have not been released, checked in at Ben Gurion International Airport to fly to Brussels on Tuesday.
According to officials, he arrived at Terminal 1 late and was unable to issue a ticket for the infant. They then left their son in the wheelchair and hurried to the boarding line.

In the video, filmed at the airport, a woman is seen looking at the baby and screaming, “They left him here, I swear.”
According to a Ryanair spokesperson on CNN, the case is being investigated by the police.
“The said passengers, traveling from Tel Aviv to Brussels, showed up at check-in without a reservation for their infant. Then they left, leaving the baby behind. An employee at Ben Gurion Airport contacted airport security, who located the couple shortly before landing,” a spokeswoman told CNN.
