The National Liberal Party is asking Mayor-General Nikusor Dan for his administration to achieve certain indicators on 10 priority topics within 6 months if he does not threaten to withdraw support.

Liberal requirements:

I. Investments in heating, reducing the risk of losing European funds

II. Increasing the pace of implementation of large investment projects that are being carried out

During these 2 years of power, no major investment project was started, one was abandoned (Ciurel road), one went badly (Dna. Ghica drive) and one went extremely badly (Ghencea extension), PNL claims.

V. The beginning of real institutional reforms

“At the level of the PMB apparatus and sub-departmental institutions, there was no reformation, no reorganization, no merger, no cancellation, and therefore no streamlining of activities.”

• Reorganization of Bucharest City Hall based on efficiency and administrative efficiency criteria;
• Presentation within the next two months of a plan to reduce the number of institutions subordinate to the PMB;

Even so far, Bucharest is not benefiting from the Urban Master Plan (PUG), the current administration has unlocked the contract for the implementation of the PUG after only two years. Central regions are in deep degradation.

• Launch of at least two zonal urban plans for urban regeneration: (1) Bd.Mageru. (2) Bd.Calea Victoriei, which now presents itself as two destructured urban areas;

X. Creation of a multi-year investment planning system that unites all network owners

At the moment, network operators at the PMB level (Termoenergetica, STB, Apa Nova, Distrigaz, Enel, NetCity, etc.) and at the level of the city sectors of Bucharest operate separately, they do not have a common long-term investment plan, which leads to the fact that, e.g. , the newly reconstructed street will be excavated again in a few weeks or months. In addition, new investments in the road network are significantly delayed because these works are not included in the investment plans of the operators.

Achievement indicators:

• Implementation of a mechanism for planning, transparency and prioritization of public works, from which stages, budgets, responsibilities and deadlines are clearly defined.
