
OUR Annie Wersingactress known for her work in the television series “24“, “Runaways“as well as video games”Last of us“, died at the age of 45.
Wersing passed away Sunday morning in Los Angeles after battling an unspecified form of cancer, according to a statement from her agent to the Associated Press. A GoFundMe campaign hosted by Ever Carradine (The Runaways) described the actress as a beloved friend, colleague, and mother who “lived for her family,” “loved her job,” and “adored her friends.”
“In the summer of 2020, Annie was diagnosed with cancer. She became a private person, especially after she was diagnosed,” wrote her co-star Carradine.
“She wanted to protect her boys, get well so she could keep working. And frankly, she didn’t want to talk about her illness. She wanted to live her life on her own terms and be with her family. Everyone loved her. But as much as we loved her, she loved her boys much more.”
In The Runaways, Marvel Wersing played Leslie Dean. She also starred in the crime drama 24 as agent Renee Walker and voiced smuggler Tess Servopoulos in the hit video game The Last of Us.
The Last of Us creator Neil Druckman tweeted: “We have lost a wonderful artist and person. My heart broke into a thousand pieces. My thoughts are with her loved ones.”
The actress was married to actor Stephen Full, with whom they had three sons: 12-year-old Freddie, 9-year-old Ozzy and four-year-old Archie.
