Actress Annie Wersching, known for her roles on the television series 24, Bosch and Timeless, died Sunday morning in Los Angeles after losing her battle with cancer, her agent confirmed to Deadline.

The 45-year-old actress was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, but she continued to work.

“Today there is a huge hole in the soul of this family. But she left us the tools to fill it. He found a miracle in the simplest moments. He didn’t need music for dancing. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. – Go and find her. It’s everywhere’. And we will find her,” her husband, Stephen Full, told CNN.

Annie Wersching, born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, has appeared in dozens of television series during her two-decade career.

She first appeared on Star Trek: Enterprise and went on to have recurring roles in seasons seven and eight of 24, as well as series such as Bosch, The Vampire Diaries, Marvel’s Runaways, The Rookie and most recently sometimes in the second season of “Stars”. Wersching was also the voice of Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Neil Druckmann, creative director of the new HBO Max series The Last of Us, based on the game, tweeted: “Just learned that my dear friend Annie Wersching has passed away. We simply lost an artist and a beautiful person. My heart is broken. Thoughts with her loved ones.”

Annie Wersching was married to actor Stephen Full and had two children.
