An Israeli court sentenced a Palestinian to life imprisonment and another 20 years in prison, finding him guilty of raping and murdering a young Israeli woman, the court ruled.

According to their verdict, three judges recognized the murder as an “act of terrorism”.
According to the same source, Irfaya, who is about 30 years old, was sentenced to life in prison for murder and another 20 years in prison for rape.
The murder was committed in the Jerusalem forest near the youth center, where the girl served as part of her national service (sherut leumi).
“The defendant saw Ori sitting on a rock and decided to kill her just because she was Jewish.” The judges called Irfaya’s behavior “cruel, inhuman and cruel.”
Sherut Leumi in Israel is a voluntary service to the country, which is chosen mainly by religious women who are exempt from military service, or those who do not serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
