Italy and France announced that they have ordered 700 Aster-30 missiles for the Sump-T air defense system, which are also going to be delivered to Ukraine. The decision was made during a meeting between Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto and his French counterpart Sebastian Lecorne, which took place yesterday Friday in Rome.
The Italian and French press are reporting that the order will serve to replenish stocks as the two countries prepare to supply the Kyiv government with the Samp-T air defense system.
The French newspaper L’Opinion writes that these missiles are “made with state-of-the-art technology, one of the best in the world.”
