As noted in the message of the Ministry of Development and Investments, the interdepartmental decision was changed, the previous tender was canceled due to a change in financial and technical parameters related to the project award process and re-proclaimedimmediately open public international tender with the possibility of using the funds of the Recovery and Sustainability Fund.

Recall that the State of Innovation will be a space where startups will coexist, artificial plantscompanies that invest in research and development, universities, research centers, incubators, accelerators and conditions will be cultivated to bring about the necessary business synergies, producing innovative products and services for the benefit of the Greek economy and society.

The Ministry of Development and Investment notes that they carried out intensive measures and checks of possible locations for the Innovative State. In the end, the choice of old CHROPEI properties on Piraeus Street was chosen as the most suitable, as it provides easy access not only from the center of Piraeus, but also from the center of Athens. The property occupies a total land area of ​​17,893 sq.which includes a preserved industrial complex buildings.

Under the Public-Private Partnership, the private partner will design, build, finance, operate and maintain public innovative construction facilities, as well as undertake the provision of support services and innovation promotion and commercial operation of these facilities. facilities.
