Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis today met with Pierre Gramegna, Executive Director of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM).
The two men underscored the strong growth, resilience and upward momentum of the Greek economy despite consistent external challenges, as reflected in the exit from the heightened surveillance regime in August 2022.
In addition, government sources note that issues of broader concern to Europe were discussed, such as the energy crisis and the need for a strong European response to climate change, as well as the future.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the Prime Minister’s Economic Department, Alexis Patelis.
