The bad weather that has hit the island of Zakynthos in the last few hours has left flooded areas in its wake.

It is recalled that since noon on Wednesday, January 25, in areas of the island of Zakynthos, such as Laganas, Kalamaki and Agios Dimitris, intense floods began to occur.

What the bad weather left in its wake is most dramatically reflected in the Ionian Canal drone video. As you can see, many parts of the island have literally turned into lakes, while the damage to crops is also significant.

It should also be noted that in the Cordelos area, the landslide captured houses and caused serious material damage, fortunately no one was injured.
