According to ELSTAT, registration of new cars in 2022, despite delays in their deliveries (due to the lack of semiconductors and the Russian-Ukrainian war), showed a positive sign for the year as a whole by 4.3%, which corresponds to 105,283 new cars against 100,911 in 2021. It should be noted that the number of new car registrations in December 2022 reached 6,486, an increase of +14.7% compared to December 2021. 2023 is expected to be even better as delivery times are gradually reduced after the first 5 months. Moreover, it is known that demand this year is also increased.

First in sales in December was BMW with 567 vehicles, followed by Opel with 523 sales and Suzuki and Toyota with 519 and 516 vehicles respectively.
