
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis a meeting was held with the CEO of the high-tech company Intel, Patrick Gelsingerat the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
During a meeting with Mr. Gelsinger investment opportunities what Greece offers and opportunities for cooperation.
The Intel CEO congratulated the Prime Minister on Greece’s progress over the past years. “You did an excellent job under difficult circumstances,” he said characteristically.
Earlier, the Prime Minister met with the President of Moldova Maya Sandu. Issues related to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and Moscow’s use of natural gas exports were discussed.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis stressed that Greece is investing in infrastructure development that will further enhance its role as an energy hub for southern Europe, as well as a pillar for strengthening energy security and uninterrupted supply of the wider region, including Moldova.
The Prime Minister congratulated Ms. Sandu on the fact that Moldova undertook the organization of the next meeting of the European political community, and expressed support for the European perspective of the country.
The Prime Minister also had a brief meeting with Mr. Klaus SchwabFounder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum.
