
After agreeing terms for Jann Sommer’s transfer to Borussia M’Gladbach on Wednesday, Bayern Munich have convinced another Bundesliga player to join the club in the summer.
Konrad Laimer will play for Bayern Munich from next summer. His contract with RB Leipzig was to expire in June 2023.
Being in the last 6 months of his contract with RB Leipzig, Konrad Laimer held talks with the German champions as early as the summer of 2022.
Laimer turned down a contract extension with Leipzig and agreed terms with Julian Nagelsmann’s side, joining the Bavarians from July this year.

According to Transfermarkt, the 25-year-old footballer also played for Lifering and RB Salzburg, and since July 2017 he has been playing for Leipzig.
He is primarily a central midfielder, but can play as a holding midfielder or on the right wing.
In 167 matches for RB Leipzig, Leimer scored 11 goals and provided 18 assists.
