The eighth defendant – 15-year-old – in the case of the rape of a student in the city of Ilion.
As a reminder, the juvenile in question was not detained under an automatic procedure.
During his statement to the juvenile investigator today, the 15-year-old reportedly denied being present or knowing anything about the alleged incidents.
According to ERT, the 15-year-old reportedly said in his apology: “I unreservedly condemn cases of violence against the victim. I had never attended any of them and knew nothing. That’s why I don’t appear in any videos or talk to anyone.”
It is worth noting that of the seven defendants who have so far pleaded guilty, six were sentenced to pre-trial detention, and the seventh was released under restrictive conditions, as he was a few days under 15 years old.
