Romanian teams perform well against opponents from Hungary. After “Rapid” and “University of Cluj” in the first match of the meeting in Turkey, it was the turn to beat “University of Craiova”.

University of Craiova beat Keskemet in Eugen Nyagoe’s debut

In the first match with new coach Eugen Nyagoe on the bench, the University of Craiova beat Kecskemet, who took second place in the Hungarian championship, 3:1.

Ante Rogulić opened the scoring in the 48th minute with a shot from 11 meters, and a minute later Hadaro equalized with a free kick. Raul Silva in the 54th minute and Rivaldinho in the 89th minute brought victory to Olten.

Alexander Krets and Andrey Ivan were injured

In the first half, Aleksandru Kretsu and Andrey Ivan left the field injured, both had problems with their shins. Another unavailable player, Stefan Bayaram, underwent surgery on Tuesday and will miss training for 4 to 6 weeks.

The University of Craiova will play two more friendlies at the training camp in Turkey, both on January 15, against Śląsk (Poland) and Partizan (Serbia).

Also on Tuesday, “Rapid” Bucharest and “University of Cluj” defeated rivals from the neighboring country at the training camp in Turkey.
