Gabriela Ruse (116 WTA) will meet Seone Mendes (Australia – ​​375 WTA) in the first round of qualification.

Next could be a match between Robin Anderson (194 WTA) and Selena Janicevic (188 WTA).

Iryna Bara (174 WTA) will play in the first round of qualification with Leolia Zhanjan (110 WTA). Next could be a match between Kayla Day (198 WTA) and Kateryna Makarova (230 WTA).

Alexander Kadantsu-Ignatik (177 WTA) will meet Carol Monnet (209 WTA) in the first round. Next, a duel could take place with the winner of the match between Rosa Vicens Mas (221 WTA) and Eva Lees (127 WTA).

Nicolas David Ionel will be the only player from Romania to take part in the AO 2023 qualifiers.

At the moment, Ionel is ranked 229 in the ATP ranking and will defeat Yuriy Rodionov (122nd in the ATP ranking) in the first round.

If he beats the Austrian, David Ionel will then face the winner of Francesco Maestrelli (200 ATP) and Adrian Andreev (189 ATP).
