A container containing a “probably flammable” substance was found in the yard of a house in Sintest, Ilfov County on Saturday, and police are investigating the matter. The incident happened a day after a man found a grenade tied to a fence in the same settlement.

According to the Ilfov County Police, on Saturday, around 7:46 a.m., the police from Popeşti-Leordeni were alerted that a device with the smell of gas appeared in the yard of a house in the village of Sinteşti, Vidra commune. found

“Policemen from Popeşti-Leordeni immediately went to the scene together with the prosecutor of the Ilfov Court Prosecutor’s Office to carry out measures within the scope of their competence, and from the first checks they established that the matter did not concern a grenade, on the spot they found a container containing a substance, probably highly flammable,” the source said.

Currently, checks are being conducted to establish the factual and legal situation and to take the necessary legal measures.
