The end of 2022 became a sad one for world sports after the Brazilian Pele lost his battle with an inexorable disease.

The news shook the world to its core, with publications around the world writing about how great Pele was and what he left behind.

In a few days, the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, came up with an original proposal with which the world should pay tribute to the one who was called the king of football.

Following the tragic death of the great Pele, Gianni Infantino came up with a seemingly novel proposal to name at least one stadium in each country after the former three-time World Cup-winning great.

On Monday, the coffin with the dead body of Pele was placed in Vila Belmiro, the stadium of the Santos team.

A round-the-clock vigil will continue.

After the 24-hour vigil, the coffin will be moved to the Universal Memorial Necropolis for burial, which is scheduled for Tuesday.
