“More than one and a half million accounts in various social networks and messaging services were detected. They were created to spread lies and pro-Russian propaganda,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported.

According to him, the law enforcement officers have already seized more than 100,000 SIM cards, which were used to register accounts.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyiv reported that it had detained 31 people involved in the criminal activities of the network, suspected of distributing malicious programs for mobile phones and making money transfers to Russia.

The Kyiv Security Service (SBU) says it has exposed more than 1,000 “enemy agitators” who have been spreading fake news about the war in Ukraine since it began on February 24 by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
