Head of the Border Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Deineko, said that currently Russia has placed a group of 10,200 people in Belarus, and this number is not enough for an attack on Ukraine, Ukrainian Pravda reports.
“The group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is stationed in Belarus with the number of about 10,200 servicemen and cannot carry out the task of a repeated attack on the territory of our state,” Deineko said.
According to Serhii Deineko, the Intelligence Service of the Ministry of Defense, the State Border Service and operative-investigative units monitor the situation on the territory of Belarus every day. They are also helped by “unofficial assistants”. All report that the Russians have no “real opportunity” to attack.
