Podolyak wrote on Twitter that each of the three countries is participating in Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, Iran with drones and missiles, North Korea with ammunition and weapons, and Belarus has provided Russia with infrastructure, territory and equipment.

Podolyak’s announcement came a day after the White House accused North Korea of supplying weapons to the Wagner mercenary group to support Moscow’s forces in Ukraine.

Kyiv has accused Tehran of supplying Moscow with thousands of drones used in deadly attacks on cities such as Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia.

Initially denying the presence of Iranian drones in Ukraine, the government in Tehran admitted it had supplied Russia with a “small number” of drones months before Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February.

Belarusian President Oleksandr Lukashenko previously allowed the Kremlin to use his country as a launching pad for the February invasion, and tens of thousands of Russian troops entered Ukraine from here, and Russian warplanes took off from bases in Belarus.

But Lukashenko did not enter the war directly and did not send his own troops into battle.

Britain’s ambassador to the United Nations, Barbara Woodward, said on December 9 that Russia is seeking more weapons from Iran, including hundreds of ballistic missiles, and is offering Tehran an unprecedented level of military and technical support in return.

Woodward also said that since August, Iran has transferred hundreds of drones — unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) — to Russia, which has used them to “kill civilians and illegally target civilian infrastructure” in Ukraine.
