Andrea Compagno, who came to Romanian football in the summer of 2020 (from Craiova 1948), is currently the best striker in the Romanian Super League, becoming the top scorer in the first division after 21 stages (13 goals).

The 26-year-old forward has exploded in the second half of the 2021/22 season and his development has caught the interest of FCSB, who paid €1.5m this summer.

Until now, Compagno is the number 9 that FCSB has been missing, being a real “killer” in front of the opponent’s goal.

In 2022, the vice-champion of Romania leads the ranking of Italians with the most goals, ahead of players of the same level as Ciro Immobile (Lazio), Mario Balotelli (FC Sion) or Gianluca Scamacca, the footballer to whom West Ham United paid the sum of 36 million euros.

Andrea Compagno has scored at least 23 goals in 2022, more than any other player in the boot.
