Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, his wife Mareva-Grabofksi Mitsotakis and their children Konstantinos and Daphne listened to Christmas carols from different regions of Greece at Maximos Palace.
Carols were sung to the Prime Minister and his family by the children of the Hellenic Corps of Leadership, the Municipal Philharmonic of Amphilochia, and members of the “Black Club” of Pontion Naoussa.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his wife and children exchanged wishes and Christmas gifts with them.
Traditional hymns also for Alexis Tsipras

Traditional Christmas songs were heard by Alexis Tsipras and his partner Betty Baziana as the President of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance welcomed the Brotherhood of Kefalonia and Ithaca Piraeus and the Association of Northern Epirus under the auspices of the Democratic Union of the Greek People to the offices of the party. The minority is OMONIA.
Mr. Tsipras and his partner distributed and received gifts and exchanged wishes with club members. “For the first time I hear your hymns, they are very beautiful, of course, you have a tradition in art in the Ionian Islands,” said Mr. Tsipras after hearing carols from the Brotherhood of Cephalins and Ithaca Piraeus. Then the members of the club danced the traditional Kefalon ball. Then “Good evening, gentlemen” was sung by small children from the associations of Northern Epirus under the auspices of the Democratic Union of the National Greek Minority – OMONIA. To the sounds of the clarinet, the children danced a traditional dance. The Vice President of Omonia presented the President of SYRIZA PS with the green jersey of the Phoenicians Cultural and Athletic Club (PAO Phoenicians) with the name of Mr. Tsipras and the number 28 printed on it.
In addition, in a short dialogue in front of the cameras, Vice-President Giorgos Tsomakas, on behalf of President Omonia, invited Mr. Tsipras to officially visit Northern Epirus. “Regarding the situation in Northern Epirus, little or nothing has changed since the day you made this important announcement in Bucharest (as in the quadripartite Greece-Bulgaria-Serbia-Romania on March 29, 2019),” Mr. n. Tsomakas.
“I know this,” said Alexis Tsipras, “and one of the reasons I didn’t accept my friend Edi Rama’s invitation was that I would never have been able to accept the organization of the holidays if the minority issues hadn’t progressed.” He noted that “Albania’s European path must be combined with very important steps on the issue of rights, human rights and, of course, on the issue of the property of the Greek minority, because human rights and the EU go hand in hand, not two separate things. And we will support the neighboring country in its choice, if, of course, it also complies with the principles and values of the EU.”
Best wishes from Androulakis, Kutsumba, Velopoulos and MeRA25.
Nikos Androulakis, while in Thessaloniki, heard carols from the children of the “Children’s Umbrella” of Pavlos Melas Municipality, which supports children with learning difficulties and their families. The President of PASOK-KINAL said after playing with the children that children should come first for everyone.
c.g. The KKE was welcomed by the children’s choir “Red Ball” and the musicians of the Panhellenic Musical Association. Dimitris Koutsoubas expressed confidence that the fight for a better life, he said, would continue, and supported the musicians’ fight to cancel the presidential decree, which “humiliates art schools.”
In his message, Kyriakos Velopoulos urged to turn our thoughts to our brothers who are being tested, while MeRA25 wished “a happy, competitive and disruptive birthday.”
