Libyan Foreign Minister: A year has passed since the postponement of elections

“Congratulations to all Libyans on the celebration of Independence Day,” the Libyan Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

“We emphasize with concern that a year has passed since the postponement of the scheduled elections to 12/24/21,” the Foreign Ministry continues in the same post, emphasizing that “Greece strongly supports urgent we need free, fair and inclusive elections in the country.”

Earlier today, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), said he was giving a “last chance” to draw up a “road map” that would lead the country to elections.
