The decision states that Serbia is asking the commander of the international peacekeeping force in Kosovo – KFOR to approve the return of a certain number – from hundreds to thousands – of Serbian soldiers and policemen, based on CA Resolution 1244. The request has been sent electronically to the KFOR command and tomorrow morning it will be handed over personally by the envoy of the Serbian government to the commander of the international peacekeeping force in Kosovo.
Aleksandar Vučić said in an interview with the Public Television of Serbia (RTS) that Serbia decided for the first time to formally apply for a military presence in Kosovo so that in the future there would be no one who would say that they did not use it.
