Returning from the “Maasai Olympics”, the plane had to make an emergency landing and fell to the ground. Five more people were on board, one of the passengers was hospitalized with rib injuries.
David Rudisha (33 years old) told the Kenyan newspaper Daily Nation about those few moments of fear.
“Everything was fine, but after seven or eight minutes of flight, the plane’s engine stopped. (The pilot) saw an open space and tried to land the plane there. But one of the wings hit a tree and the plane began to spin before touching the rocky ground. The pilot did an incredible job keeping the plane stable for as long as possible” – David Rudisha.
