
Italian Daniele Orsato will referee the semifinal between Argentina and Croatia at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, FIFA announced.
Orsato, 47, will take center stage in the bout, which will take place on Tuesday, December 13, from 9:00 p.m.
Daniele Orsato was born on November 23, 1975 in Vicenza, and the Italian has already refereed two matches at the World Cup in Qatar.
It is about the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador (0-2), as well as the match between Argentina and Mexico (2-0) in the group stage.
Orsato’s assistants will be compatriots Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini. The fourth judge will be Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed from the United Arab Emirates.
Massimiliano Irrati will be in charge of video refereeing (VAR), assisted by Paolo Valeri (both from Italy).
