​The County Coordination Committee of the PNL Galaţi voted in favor of a resolution proposing the withdrawal of the UDMR from the government. The resolution proposed by the president of the cell, MP Gheorghe Stenga, states that the actions of the UDMR leaders are a challenge and insult to Romanians.

Thus, according to the PNL Galați press release published on Facebook, the resolution proposed by the cell leader entitled “Romanian Government for Romanians” authorizes the anti-Romanian actions and position of the UDMR leaders.

Members of the PNL Galatsi, present at the meeting of the county coordination committee, unanimously voted for the proposal to remove the UDMR from the government.

• “The actions of the leaders of the UDMR, as well as some ministers of this formation, cannot remain without authorization. We cannot pretend that we do not see the disobedience they show to the Romanians. We are in a situation where we have to give priority to the interests of Romanians, regardless of ethnicity, rather than groups of citizens. After the recent events, which I at least consider absolutely disgusting and insulting to the Romanian people, I believe that the UDMR has no business in the government. PNL – the party of Romanians! This is the party of the union of Romanians, the modernization of Romania! We cannot simply accept that we are insulted in our country by those who should be our partners,” said Gheorghe Štanga, president of PNL Galați.
• The motion, initiated by PNL President Galac, refers to several statements and actions by UDMR leaders, including a speech by UDMR MP Chom Botonda, who said that “the political and religious leaders of Transylvanian Romanians knew very well that Transylvania was not only Romanian, but also Hungarian, Saxon and Jewish”.
• According to George Stang, “this is an insult to us as a nation! Transylvania was never Hungarian land!”
• PNL leader Galac also praised the fact that the UDMR leaders did not send any message to Romania, to the Romanians on National Day, and the fact that the UDMR leaders did not sanction or limit themselves to racist speeches. with the assistance of the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
• Gheorghe Štanga also criticized the actions of Environment Minister Tanchos Barna, who sang the Szeklerland anthem at the Romanian Ice Hockey Cup final and was recently photographed wearing Hungary’s national ice hockey kit. .
• The president of the PNL Galați branch also criticized the fact that the National Investment Company (CNI) under the direction of the Ministry of Development, led by a representative of the UDMR, is blocking programs intended for the country’s town halls.
• According to George Stang, the management formula needs to be reworked. “UDMR can no longer represent the Romanian state at this level. The degree of disobedience we have achieved and the insult that some of the prominent representatives of the UDMR are inflicting on the Romanians cannot be overlooked.”
