Farul Constanta – CFR Cluj 0-0, in Group C of the Romanian Cup

Although they were outnumbered from the 3rd minute, following a red card by Constanța’s Borza, CFR Cluj were unable to impose themselves, but a draw saw them qualify for the quarters from top spot in the group.

Cluj University – Rapid 0-0, in Group C of the Romanian Cup

Rapid needed a win to reach the quarter-finals of the Romanian Cup, but after a lackluster performance, Adrian Mutu’s men drew with Cluj University, who qualified from second place in the group.
