All objects of state property in one register

The unified register will register the real estate of state bodies for the purpose of its use, as well as its protection. In fact, the Real Estate Register, which must be constantly updated by all state bodies, will be connected to the Land Registry, as well as to the Taxi electronic system. It is noted that the Real Estate Register is a constantly updated geographical and descriptive register, in which the state property databases of all ministries are interconnected. The plan for the registration and use of state real estate provides for the following activities for the next year:

1. Cooperation of the Real Estate Registry with state bodies that own real estate for their registration and interconnection with information systems of other ministries, such as the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Rural Development, etc.

2. Finding and pinpointing properties of particular natural beauty. In partnership with specialized departments of Greek universities, the precise geospatial demarcation of the boundaries of public domains of particular natural beauty or particular economic or cultural significance, which is still technically impossible to demarcate by existing means (for example, the caldera of the island of Thira) is being planned.

3. Identification and accurate identification of real estate to be transferred to the Ministry of Finance, from the National Land Cadastre. With the help of specialized departments of Greek universities or other public or private bodies, organizations, institutions, etc., the boundaries of the new public property that will arise will be drawn.

4. Using geospatial data to continuously record spatial changes in public domains (due to rezoning, expropriation, encroachment, etc.), coasts (due to erosion, maintenance, etc.) and general coastal areas.

5. Housing and communal services with rationalization and cost savings. New housing auctions will be held, as well as re-bidding of those that have become unusable, with the aim of radically reducing the corresponding operating costs and adapting to new rules and requirements (energy efficiency, safety, etc.).

What does the plan for accounting, protection and use of state real estate provide for?

6. Settlement of occupied and exchanged lands, which is expected to provide a significant income to the state budget and is a solution for the use of state property for several purposes:

• Removal of historically documented social injustices, conflicts and all kinds of claims that arise whenever the state tries to protect its property with specific measures, but with a time lag.

• Inflow of significant revenues to the state budget and effective protection of the common property of the state, as well as property that will be revealed with the completion of the National Land Cadastre.

• Exemption of the competent administrative services and courts from a significant number of lawsuits, costs and bureaucratic procedures.

7. Control over foundations and donations to ensure the effective implementation of social work and the achievement of the goal they have undertaken, as well as achieving the greatest possible publicity for scholarships provided by foundations.

8. Continue and improve electronic auctions for the right to simple use of the sea coast and beach by updating and simplifying the legal framework and using new technologies to ensure the protection of the sea coast and beach, as well as promoting and facilitating the development policy of the country.
