The former great Brazilian striker Adriano faced problems during the World Cup in Qatar. His wife left him just 24 days after he disappeared from home to watch matches.

Adriano, abandoned because of the World Cup 2022 matches

Adriano split from his wife Micaela Mesquita after they recently shared photos from their wedding in November, the Daily Mail reports.

The former Inter, Parma, Roma, Corinthians and Flamengo player went to Vila Cruzeiro, a district in Rio de Janeiro, to watch the match between Brazil and Switzerland with his friends.

He returned home only two days later, and after a quarrel with his wife, they divorced. Mikaela Mesquita deleted photos together from social networks and canceled a family party planned for the end of the week.

Adriano’s impressive career

Adriano retired from football in 2016, having spent several years at Inter Milan, with whom he won four Serie A titles. He also scored 27 goals for Brazil in 48 matches.
