Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister Andrii Spinu announced on Saturday the conclusion of the agreement, which he said would reduce the risk of “massive power outages” in the country, Reuters reports.
We will remind you that recently the Republic of Moldova faced a power outage in almost the entire territory in the context of massive Russian missile attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
“The state company “Energocom” signed a contract for the supply of electricity with the Kuchurgansk power plant for the month of December. We also agreed to analyze the option of extending the contract for the period January-March 2023 in order to provide the entire country with electricity.” – said Andriy Spinu, Vice Prime Minister of Moldova, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, on Saturday.
